Amazing transformation from worn and ground down teeth to a healthy happy smile in just a matter of weeks. It is very important to get everything worked out ahead of time. In this case, we made study models of the teeth and then created a diagnostic wax-up of what the teeth should look like before we started the case. We then used the mold from the ideal teeth in the wax-up to fabricate the temporary crowns. The patients temporary crowns looked almost as nice as these permanent crowns do right after the first crown preparation visit. In this case, the patient wore the temporary crowns for one week and returned to the office to verify comfort, fit, color and shape of the teeth.
