Instant Orthodontics

Instant Orthodontics is the process of aligning teeth using porcelain crowns, veneers, bridges, dental implants, and a variety of other dental techniques to achieve straight teeth in one dental visit.

After a complete dental examination with diagnostic models is performed, a wax-up of a properly aligned bite is formed on the diagnostic model so you can see what the teeth would look like if you decided to go ahead and have your teeth instantly aligned. Once you say you are ready to get started, we schedule a preparation visit where a mold from the properly aligned teeth on the wax model is used to form temporary teeth in your mouth that look just like the permanent porcelain crowns.

The temporary teeth are worn for about 3 weeks and then you return to the office after about one week to let us know if you are happy with the shape and color of the temporary teeth. If so, we have the lab proceed with making the permanent all-porcelain crowns and veneers that match your patient-approved temporaries. Two weeks later you return to have the temporary crowns removed and the permanent porcelain restorations placed.
