How does your office handle dental insurance?

This is a great question? We have many patients with dental insurance in our office. After each dental visit, the patient pays for the dental services provided and a dental claim form is generated by our computer system. We fill this form out entirely and place it in an envelope ready to be mailed. The patient receives a reimbursement check from their dental insurance provider in a matter of weeks. In some cases, patients need dental work and are concerned about how much their dental insurance company is going to pay so we do what is called a “pre-treatment estimate”. This way the patient knows exactly what portion of the dental treatment they are going to be responsible for. Many patients find that if they put their dental treatment on a credit card, they receive their reimbursement check from the insurance company before they get their statement.
