My dental assistant Chase Brown also joined us this weekend.
We picked up a couple of pearls to share with patients when we return to work tomorrow. One is, a product I have been hesitant to incorporate into the practice called Oraverse. Dr. Malamed presented studies to back it up both as a safe product and as a product that may benefit patients. Oraverse is an anesthetic reversal agent. You give it after the procedure to increase the rate at which you regain feeling in your lip and tongue. Unfortunately, it’s not cheap and there is a fee for this service. The second product that is exciting to incorporate in to the practice is Onset. This product is used to make your local anesthetic injections less painful. I know patient are already raving about how I don’t hurt, but I am still adding this product in order to guarantee a pain-free experience. Anyway, it was a great weekend of learning for Chase and I. It was also a great time after wards with our family.-
